Veterans Grants

The Victorian Government supports ex-service organisations, local government authorities, educational institutions and not for profit organisations with grants for projects which:

  • provide welfare services or assistance to the ex-service community
  • honour and commemorate the service and sacrifice of our veterans
  • educate the wider Victorian community about the service and sacrifice of our veterans
  • provide education assistance for veterans' dependants
  • preserve our veteran heritage for the benefit of future generations
  • restore local community war memorials, honour rolls and avenues of honour, or
  • commemorate the Anzac Centenary

A common condition of Victorian Government funding for projects is that recipients must agree to follow the Department's guidelines for acknowledging the government's funding. Aligning with the Victorian Government Branding Policy, please read the funding acknowledgement guidelines (doc - 429 kb).
